Built on whole-of-life cost
The business case is built on the equivalent annual cost across an asset's whole life — not the sticker price. So a dearer product that lasts longer competes on the numbers that actually matter.
Inputs are supplier-declared product data (shown with its verification status) plus NSW EPA emissions factors — the dataset behind the EPA's Recyculator tool. Results show low, central and high ranges with every assumption visible and editable, never a single point estimate.
It is a screening method to support business cases — not a life cycle assessment, and not a substitute for a verified product declaration.
